David Archuleta Sings Christmas Carols At MTV's Offices

MTV Shows

an open letter to uw-badger

now im feeling bad with this web. at first one of their columnist post a very bad review about david xmas album..this is not just bad review, this was a haters review...i think we are smart enough to know which one is objective review and haters review..from the title you can know that they really hate david..ho-ho-horrible..and the review is just as bad
here are some of the words:

Blow out your pumpkin patch-scented candle, destroy your slutty schoolgirl Halloween costume and spit out your apple cider, because fall is over for all you loyal David Archuleta fans. For everyone else, don’t destroy a thing, except maybe his newest bargain bin-worthy album, Christmas from the Heart.

Ignoring the obvious mock-worthy, uninspired title, this album utterly fails to accomplish what holiday music lovers yearn, or at least hope for when seeing the sale of yet another Christmas album — that is, an attempt at even a degree of melodic originality on modern renditions of favored classics.

First of all, why is Archuleta already surrendering to the predicted pop-inspired holiday CD so soon after his successful self-titled debut album? Shouldn’t this cop-out be reserved for when he’s too lazy and uninventive to write or perform any new songs? Or when he’s fallen off our collective radar after the next inevitable “Idol” sensation?

Nonetheless, Archuleta admirers who treasure his established baby-face innocence and pious image will savor this album, as every ballad is carried by his clear, powerful and even sometimes over-performed voice that many of the devoted “Archie” fans have ceaselessly worshipped since his beginnings on “Idol.”

ok..that was obviously haters words..not just insulting david but she or he insult david fans too..
so i give the site a comment (im one of the 4 earliest person who give comment) and leave with peace..hahahaha..i thought that the site wont be a problem cause all i can see theres only 4ppl so far who give comments..until now...

i just realized that the comment was rise into 123 comment so far..and the other columnist come to protect her friend and made nasty open letter to archangels...she defend her columnist but she insulted archangels too with her words...is that a good editor? IF U WANT TO SHUT THE FIRE DOWN, DON'T PUT ANOTHER PETROL ON IT..u just made another archangels mad with u..

n I JUST WANT TO SAY to the columnist ann rivall..if u want to give a review to anything, please being an objective reviewer..out of it, its not a profesional review or it just another "dear diary" blog post..we have received harsh review before, like this one from nydailynews.. n we're fine with that..please read it  urself and see the differences between his review and yours...ill be waiting ur another "objective" review..thank you

i like the way snarkyarchies act about this :

what newspaper pushes away comments? what world have you grown up in where you don't realize that if you leave a place to comment, you leave a place for criticism, praise, and stupidity?

this is the internet. let me introduce you to it.

it is often anonymous. it is often brutal. it is almost entirely negative towards the media, for sure.

if you can't handle david archuleta fans, i think maybe you should change your career path.

thanks, and goodnight.

p.s. we realize by posting this we are joining the fray. well. duh. we don't have 'snark' in our name for nothing, sillies.

and last..im sorry if there's any words of mine hurt someone..i dont wanna have another foe..that just too much..stop hating and make friends....

David Archuleta Christmas from the heart album review

These are some of the review that I found :
From zap2it . Overally they gave positive review about the album.

However, what really makes the album a knock-out are his versions of O Holy Night, What Child is This, Ave Maria and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (featuring Charice Pempengco). These songs are considerably harder to sing than the previous list of songs and Archuleta's vocals really get to shine here. The "noels" with about 50 seconds left in O Holy Night are gorgeous and his Ave Maria is a different arrangement but that's what makes it beautiful and unique

I love the knock-out line...sooo simon cowell at AI finale...haha

Review from nydailynews . I gotta say the review is quite harsh. They try to compare between david xmas from the heart album and bob dylan xmas in the heart album. At least he said the right words in this part :

Dylan's long-rumored CD arrives the same day as a similarly titled holiday croon from a far more expected source: "American Idol's" David Archuleta. The younger singer couldn't be more right for the part. He even looks like an elf. But Bob? Isn't he more likely to play the Grinch?

Review from Idolchatter . I dont know why but i got major goosebumps when i read the review. Mr Brian give the reader very objective and detail review. My favorite review so far. From the review i just realized that Mr kiriakou the one who co-wrote Crush was arranged 5 song from the christmas album...

Next is review from momjulee . Fan review. But I think its objective enough. and she's a christmas music collector so she can give us wider perspective about christmas music.

Another review from randomizeme and snarkyarchies
